The Cullowhee Fire Department is committed to communicating with the public. You are invited and allowed to attend and participate in our board meetings, located at the main station of our Department (4267 Little Savannah Rd).
Because our neighbors, friends, and family members contribute to the operations of this Department through taxpayer contributions, the Board of Directors and our Department’s management are committed to being as transparent as possible with you all. Our Department allows the public to attend and participate in the following meetings, located at the main station of this fire department (4267 Little Savannah Rd).
We host an Annual Meeting that allows the Board of Directors and CFD management to interact with the public we serve and to obtain their input. The below agenda is normally followed, but the CFD is not limited to the following agenda:
This meeting will be held on the second Monday in November at the main station of the fire department and the meeting will start at 7:00pm
We also hold monthly board meetings. The following agenda is an example of what we cover each month, and what we would be happy to share with you if you attend.
These meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month, at the main station of the fire department and the meeting will start at 6:00 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend our monthly board meetings unless our Board goes into closed session.
